Legal
Cookie Policy
General information about how we work, not legal advice.
Here is the whole picture in plain language. When you visit, a few things get saved on your device. One is just your light or dark theme choice. The others are analytics and advertising cookies, and you can switch those off in a couple of clicks. No long legalese, no surprises.
Your theme choice
When you switch the site between light and dark, we save that one choice on your device so the page opens the way you left it. It is stored only after you tap the toggle yourself, it never leaves your device, and it has nothing to do with the cookies below.
Analytics
We use a third-party analytics service to understand how people use the site: which pages get read, which city we should write about next, whether a link is hard to find. It sets cookies and reports back to us in aggregate so we can keep improving the site. It does not tell us your name, and we are not trying to identify you personally.
Advertising and remarketing
We also work with advertising providers that may place cookies so we can show you a Trident reminder later, on other sites or in search. That is what remarketing is: the reason a business you looked at sometimes shows up in your ads for a little while. We use it only to reach people who have already shown interest in exterior cleaning around Greater Vancouver. It does not give advertisers the name or phone number you type into our form.
Turning the analytics and ad cookies off
You stay in control. Any of these works:
- In your browser settings, clear or block this site's cookies, or turn on the option to block third-party cookies.
- Use a private or incognito window, which clears everything when you close it.
- Use the opt-out pages our analytics and advertising providers publish, plus the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada's AdChoices opt-out at youradchoices.ca.
Switching them off does not change anything about how the site works for you. Your theme choice in the first section stays put either way.
Which rules apply
We are a Greater Vancouver business serving local customers, so the rules that govern this site are Canadian: PIPEDA federally and BC PIPA provincially. The EU's GDPR is written for businesses that target people in Europe, which we do not, so it does not apply to us. For the fuller picture of how we handle the details you send us, see our Privacy Policy.
